Dude, people would be pissed.
Imagine the scene:
Snake sneaks around, sees a guard.
*puts XBox360 on the patrols route*
Guard comes, starts it.
...
He drops the pad and walks away.
No explosion - why? It RRoD'ed.
Moral? I don't want explosives with a 33% chance of not working.
DLed and used them. They aren't the prettiest, but the effect is... well, a nice side effect.
BTW, I want a Big Boss camo. No, not that one - you know why I'm looking at you, Konami. A Big Mama mask would be cool too. :p
Kinda early, I thought the console release was february '09?
At least you guys understood I was joking and didn't flame me to death.
Seriously, nice if their sales rise, but they lost in Japan a long time ago.
So they sold 2 this week?
Damn, it had so much potential...
Signed.
When I saw the news this morning (around 7 am here) I installed it and wanted to try out the new features in MGS4. Then it hit me like a brick: We need a patch first.
Now, I really appreciate that we finally have come one big leap closer to full fledged in-game XMB, but Sony should have enforced compatibility with the new features two months or so ago, so that the patches would already be available.
From the features I can actually use, I think the clock in the upper...
As long as the included DLC is not a nude costume for at least one female character, I'll stick to the regular version.
UT3 is a nice stress reliever. Daily sessions 15 minutes VCTF brought me through my last year of school without going ballistic over the sh'tload of work I had to do.
I don't think it's 100% just now. Sony said they improve it over time, so maybe that was just the next one on their list or a nice side effect from fixing another game.
EDIT: Before I look like a fool - the title first said "100% BC", so that's were my statement comes from.
If true:
What's worse? Freeing up some space on your HDD or having TO BUY ONE when you bought a XBox360 without HDD?
Sucks for my 8GB, but it won't kill me.
Can't wait for the REALLY hardcore fanboys/fangirls to spin this into something positive.
It's sad for those without an HDD, though.
Not making a HDD standard when they had it in the first XBox one of the most stupid moves ever in gaming. Why go backwards?
CELL - Is there anything it can't do?
Seriously, it's a CPU. CPUs are used in PCs. PCs are used to do research and stuff like this among other things. Do we need news everytime a certain CPU is used to do something that others have done for years before?
"Looks like they need to fix the camera and this game will be fit for a king."
A king that loves slideshows, judging from the article.
The only question is: Do people with a Wii and a PS3/XBox360 pirate the game for the Wii (don't know if you still can after the recent update) or buy it for the other one?
They aren't as good as you think. When you played one, you know them all.
I know. Even if the extra costs are like 500$ (+250$ per card), they will easily charge something like 800$ more, just for the hell of it. As you said, building it on your own is much cheaper and the service stuff can be done by third-party stores if necessary. Parts come with warranty as well, so this is less problematic than most think.
Not only that... They used 8800 Ultra GPUs, which aren't the best (performance wise) anymore - GTX280 would have been needed here. If I pay that much money, I want the latest tech available, not something that has already been replace by something better.
No.
Why? There was this girl in my class, who could kick my ass easily. She wasn't a body builder or anything like that, she was just badass. Luckily we are friends, so I'm safe. :P
